
Cody Joy is a Mechanical Engineering Major and is in his Junior year at UCF. Cody loves longboarding around campus whenever he can, and he enjoys playing music in his free time. Born and raised in Jacksonville, FL, Cody was home schooled from 5th grade through graduation from high school and now knows what it’s like to go to school with more than just his sister. Cody isn’t too certain what God has planned for his future, but he looks forward to seeing where God can use him.

Paul is a junior majoring in Computer Science. He comes from Jacksonville, the largest city in Florida. His hobbies include programming, designing web sites, origami, and working out. He came from Bishop Kenny High School, class of 2009. He thinks God always has a plan for us. For him, that plan includes acting as a figure of Christ towards others, and to always search for the truth. His current plan is to graduate and hopefully obtain a job in the software engineering industry.

Alex is a junior in the Health Science Program at UCF. He was born and raised in DeLand, Florida. His interests include anything to do that involves hanging out with his friends. He is interested in becoming a surgeon one day, but if God steers him in another path then he’s willing to follow God. He also knows all of the girls!

Shane is an Information Technology major at UCF and is in his 4th year of college. His hobbies can range from anything to hanging out with friends, hitting up the gym, or messing around with computers. He’s Puerto Rican but was born here in Florida and grew up near the Fort Lauderdale area in a city called Coral Springs. In Coral Springs he attended J. P. Taravella Highschool and went to Florida Atlantic University for his AA. After FAU was when he transferred to UCF, the best university in Florida! At this point in time he still did not know what God’s plan for his future was. All he knows is that he really loves the computer and has a feeling that his schooling and job will lead him to one day have a job in some field that deals with technology and computers. He grew up with them all his life and they never bore. Shane says, “Right now I just gotta keep my head up high, always think positive, pray, and make sure that everything I do is for the Lord and Him only!”

Calvin is a Molecular Biology and Micro-Biology Major with a Minor in Psychology. This will be his Junior semester, so that means it’s time to prepare for the MCAT and applying to Med schools. There is nothing he loves to do more than play sports, but in his free time he also enjoys playing some League of Legends and just being in the outdoors. The beach is also a place he spent most of his free time. Hanging out on his Waverunner or just fishing on the shore. He was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, but was raised in Palm Beach County Florida for most of his life. He attended High school at Palm Beach Central. He feels led to serve as a physician. While he has an intense passion for athletics, he has also been blessed with outstanding ability to understand and love science. With those qualities, he feels led to pursue a career as a sports physician. Along his journey into that discipline he will continue to be an active member of his community and be the light that God calls us to be.

Chris is a junior studying Communications. He likes to hang out with people, read books, play video games and randomly do something he has never done before. He is half Cuban and half American, and was born in Boca Raton, Fl, but was raised in Orlando, Fl. He graduated in 2009 from High School and then got my AA from Valencia Community College. He believes God wants him to be a light in the entertainment industry. He has a huge passion for casting. He has already got a foot in the door at an awesome company.

Favorite Random Favorite Memory: A few years back I had to get my wisdom teeth removed. The only thing I remember
from that day was when I was leaving the nurse said “Don’t worry about anything, because you will forget all of this anyways.” and I responded “No I won’t.” That is still my only memory of that day.
